Progress in the Making

Today marks 20 days since I gave birth.
Eloira has been strong.

Her stats have been up and down, keeping everyone on edge—but she is fighting.

Big milestone:
She went from 100% oxygen support down to 22–25%.
That is a huge improvement.

She’s still on dopamine for blood pressure.
While on dopamine, she cannot receive milk feeds and must rely on IV nutrition.

This means her weight fluctuates, and she cannot gain meaningful weight yet

We’re waiting for her to fully come off dopamine so she can start feeding again.

Physically, she looks bigger.
Her hands and feet look fuller, and she has more hair…Oooh, this is exciting!

On my end, I’m becoming more consistent with pumping.
I woke up at 3 AM and 6 AM to pump, even though the output is small, I’m staying consistent.

Progress doesn’t always look big.
Sometimes it’s small changes that mean everything.
